Guys, tell me what he wrote?))))

Just ignore him, he drinks too much alcohol in the evening hours ;-)

He was talking about two Do it Yourselve projects from two forumites

this was the first one -> http://www.guitarworld.de/gwpages/gear,a,show,g,503-bad-medicine-cae3undse-clone.html

and three years later, the "revenge" -> http://www.guitarworld.de/gwpages/gear,a,show,g,2301-cae-3und-clone.html

I assume he is trolling.

This Preamp sounds very good. I recommend to add technical informations to the website. I could not find any specs on your products and some kind of price would be good as well. Maybe you could take a single gutshot for the curious people as well? Most people will want to know how this piece of gear has been put together.

I'm sure you would be able to sell quite a few of your preamps if the price, including postage and taxes, estimates at below 650,- in the european region.

so it was trollolo !)))
Tummy, I think I can sell it for $ 600 + freeshiping .
I need just a little to clarify this in the post office .
may be even cheaper if you're lucky)

one question: what is "gutshot" ?)

serious work, a lot of manual labor, is respected

Are your amps CE and ROHS compliant?
I foresee trouble at the customs if there are not,
and afaik I would not be allowed to import them if they are not at least ROHS conform...

There seems to be a full amp design as well,
could you say a few words about it's design?
Tube choice, voicing?

All the best,
woody

Alas ROHS amplifiers are distinguished by reliability, lead-free soldering is not allowed in the military, aerospace, and I am of the opinion that if I'm doing a limited number of amplifiers, they have to be durable as possible. By the way, the X-88 does not meet the ROHS)

Dann hat sich das mit dem EU_Import fĂĽr mich erledigt.

Aber ich sehe schon, dass hier schon einige ihren Kontostand abgerufen haben.

Schönen Tach noch

well, the rules about importing electronic goods are in charge, so importing a non ROHS conform electronic part to the EU may cause problems for the importer. It doesn't matter what your personal opinion is to that fact, customs may not know about the importance of guitar tone given by non lead-free soldering...

By the way, is the X-88 still a new available product?

Cheers

no, x-88 are hard to find used))))

I do not plan wholesale, so that customs my package with 1 amp unlikely to be interested for compliance ROHS , But the fact that no one will want to have my broken amp is 100%, and obtain a ROHS certificate of conformity in Russia will cost me in such value that it can exceed the entire income of the sales for the next few years)
